We believe that the way to build a healthier Idaho is to address the root causes that impact health. To achieve this, we balance our funding and initiative efforts between investing in high-impact innovation and supporting proven solutions to complex problems.

We listen to our partners across the state to help us discover needs and uncover opportunities for how we can give back to Idaho. We’ve learned that addressing root causes that impact health is how we create a healthier Idaho. We focus on Community, Education and Healthcare, addressing root causes such as access to food, healthcare, housing, as well as education and building healthy communities.

How We Fund
Each year we fund pilots, projects and programs directly related to improving the health of Idahoans. The size and scope of our funding opportunities varies greatly, from one-time “seed funding” to multiyear grants.
While most of this work is managed through predefined initiatives, several times a year we welcome inquiries through our RFP process.
